The fusion of a new-gen vacuum tube oscillators with an old school ladder filter forms the magical Nutube technology. The Nutube has two vacuum tubes to generate sawtooth wave or square wave.The other is for driving the circuit of the sub-oscillator to add depth and warmth. What really defines the sound of this bass machine is the low-pass filter that uses transistor ladder design. It has a wide range of timbral possibilities that make it a hit in electronic dance music. Moreover, the bass has an overdrive that resembles a stompbox. This is, a knob to the right that compresses the volume while it adds thickness to the amazing bass sound.
Additionally, the Volca Nubass is a 16 step sequencer that lets you automate parameters to make rhythms or loop some sounds or music. Similarly, you can also use the buttons for step input or to play sequence patterns.
