iTrack Solo: Features
The Focusrite iTrack Solo is iPad ready. Moreover, it’s certified by Apple and is compatible with any lightning connection. You can hook up a great array of iPad models to use it as your main hub, or to induce sound to your favorite music production app on your Apple device. This portable box is not only nice-looking, but also robust enough to pack in your bag and take with you anywhere you need it.
The iTrack Solo front panel has 1 XLR microphone input and one unbalanced instrument input. Additionally, it has two gain knobs, two gain halo signal indicators, and a 48V Phantom power switch. Controls to level and dial headphone line input and line-level outputs are present, too. To make sure you connect it properly, you’ll also find a USB connection LED indicator and a TRS Jack headphone output. On the back panel, you’ll find two unbalanced monitor outputs RCA Phono. In other words, you’ll find a device link port that will allow you to connect your iPad, a 2.0 USB port, and a Kensington lock slot.
Included out of the box comes Ableton Live Lite 9 for both Mac and PC. Additionally, you’ll get the Focusrite Scarlett plugin suite to bring some cool effectors to your music.
