A-Range 2 Channel Rack

In 1972, Trident Studios decided to purchase an unused recording device and decided to build one themselves. Trident Studios decided to focus in building the A-Range 2 channel rack. Consequently, they focused in developing it. They built it by hand according to the measurements established by Trident. These was before the coordinate circuit (or ‘chip’) days. Consequently, all circuits used individual transistors (known these days as a ‘discrete’ design).

A-Range 2 Channel Rack. The Icon

This, and the use of inductors within the lower and upper mid equalizer areas are said to account for much of the one of a kind sound of the A-Range. From there, Trident Sound Advancements Ltd was born, until it became a driving producer of music recording media. One of the company’s most punctual publicizing mottos was ‘designed by recording engineers for recording engineers’. This got to be a key component of what made the ‘Trident Sound’ special.

The 2-channel A-Range rack unit is a correct reproduction of the initial all-discrete transistor circuitry and reliably takes after the initial console’s plan. So much so that it has taken three a long time of circuit examination and testing by PMI Sound Bunch who embraced the mammoth assignment of reproducing the circuitry. Trident Sound Advancements and PMI Sound are greatly satisfied and glad to offer this special piece of recording history. As it were thirteen A-Range comforts were ever built and a number are still in utilizing nowadays in spite of being about forty a long time ancient.
