Gemini II Microphone

The Gemini II dual-valve microphone is one of the most unrestricted receivers in history. The dual valve design involves pure valve heat from the 12AX7 inlet valve. It is coupled with a 12AU7 valve in the performance system. The result is a large and suggestive sound, reminiscent of the classic valve mouthpieces of decades ago. However, its sound has a completely new and trendsetting twist. Most mouthpieces use a transformer to optimize the mic’s yield impedance and couple the mic to the preamplifier. Gemini II achieves this optimization with a momentary vacuum tube. This negates any high-frequency attenuation that would normally occur with a transformer.

The Gemini II has pristine high-end frequency like that found in more expensive solid-state amps. Concurrently, it maintains the engrossing, rich tonality of a tube microphone. The low-cut channel and -10dB buffer make the Gemini valuable for loud, overpowering sources like drums and booming toms. The Gemini II features a 1 1/4” capsule handcrafted and independently tuned at our exceptional manufacturing facility. Thanks to a larger-than-life capsule, genuine condenser innovation and ultra-precision parts, the Gemini II conveys an enormous sound right out of the box. In addition, the Gemini II’s hand-made metal lodging and gold-sputtered stomachs guarantee the greatest unwavering quality in all sonic settings.

The Gemini II comes bundled in a wooden presentation box following its custom shock mount and strong control supply, all housed in a secure and rugged flight case. The Gemini II encompasses a 1 1/4” capsule that’s handcrafted and exclusively tuned in our exceptionally claim production line. From its assembly all the way to your recording studio, the Gemini II microphone empowers your mixes.
