The Alesis V25 is a 25-key USB MIDI keyboard controller. Designed and created by American manufacturer Alesis, it’s a powerful and versatile and has several goodies like pads, buttons, and knobs. Also, it has octave selector keys for you to play in the full octave range. Whit this controller you can produce great basslines, melodies, and chords. Moreover, it’s flexible enough to map your knobs and buttons to take effect directly on your plugins and virtual instruments. As a result, you make adjustments like volume levels and filter. Plus, you can turn trigger effects on and off. Additionally, it has expression capabilities for performing with its pitch and modulation wheels. In particular, the backlit pads are a great feature that looks pretty cool at night.

In the case you have a Mac, you’ll need at least OS X 10.7 onwards to be able to connect the Alesis V25, and at least OS X 10.8 onwards as software. On Windows, you’ll have to, at least, work on Windows 7 with a 2GB RAM processor or more.
