343 Labs is a new music production school that a group of Dupspot’s former instructors created. It offers both online education and New York-based programs. The learning experience divides into five different modules. These are Music Production, Music Foundations, DJ, Mixing and Mastering, and Sound Design. In short, it provides a complete educational experience as well as customizable options to suit every need.
343 Labs: All About the Programs
Logic Pro, Sound Design and Synthesis, Mixing and Mastering, Contemporary Songwriting, Ableton Live, and Vocal Production Online are some of the programs 343 Labs offers. Firstly, in Logic Pro, students will learn the basics of producing music with Logic Pro. In addition, they will manage to produce original tracks. Secondly, in the Sound Design and Synthesis program, students will learn to find unique sounds. They do so by using powerful samplers and synthesizers. Thirdly, in the Music and Mastering course, students will acquire basic knowledge in the field as they build a release-ready mix.
Fourthly, in Contemporary Songwriting, students will learn the music theory needed to express musical ideas. Even more so, they will discover the creative steps of writing a song. In a similar fashion, Ableton Live offers students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of music production by using this unique software. In particular, it allows them to uncover the most advanced features as they learn to create signature sounds. Finally, in the Vocal Production Online course, students will obtain essential tools to record and produce professional vocal tracks.
Several Modalities
343 Labs offers several modalities, such as 12-session courses, two day workshops, and summertime intensive programs. Each one includes different courses that have a specific number of sessions. Importantly, levels vary from beginner to advanced. Furthermore, all three modalities can be in-person or online. When students choose in-person programs, they are able to build a personalized schedule that fits their wants and needs. As a final note, this school offers three bundles of Online Electronic Music Production courses. And each student can customize them!
