ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard

music production hardware

The ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard is a Polytouch 49 key polyphonic aftertouch keyboard synthesizer for both sound designers and performing musicians. It features the new ASM Polytouch keybed which allows you to play the keys like a normal keyboard with standard velocity and aftertouch. However, it does have a little extra: the polyphonic aftertouch. In particular, this enables musicians with better ways to express their art. As you might know, tone generators are normally the heart of synthesizers. In the case of the ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard, it has three integrated oscillators. They have 219 cycle waveforms that you can configure via a wave list mode. This offers you the possibility to pick and choose several waves from the ban and morph them.

ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard: Features

In the ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard, there are mutators that make it easy to modulate, bend, and give shape to the new and old way of sound. Both the first and second oscillators are routed this way. As a result, they perform several processes, like the FM/Linear. This one makes FM sounds and the Wavestack that creates five copies of incoming sound. Similarly, there’s the Hard Sync, which gives you the classic hard synthetic sounds. Additionally, there is great flexibility due to this synth’s Mixer and Filter routing. Whit them you’ll be able to mix levels and pan input sources as well as to balance and control the signal of each source to filters in series or parallel.

Since filters are the soul of synths, in the ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard you’ll find 16 filter modes that will give you a lot of options to model and program your unique sound. Moreover, there are five LFOs to get really creative with and five DAHDSR envelopes that give you pretty much an advance setup. For example, add Modulation Matric capabilities and Arpeggiator, Patches, and Effects and you end up with a serious music production workhorse. In conclusion, this device will definitely sparkle your creative side and augment your expression and workflow control.
