The Flux Mini is an envelope shaper plug-in by Caelum Audio, they guys that are behind the charming Tape Cassette 2, which is an emulator for the tape cassette era, perfect for a lo-fi house and lo-fi hip hop production. This easy sidechaining and creative modulation platform are free to download for desktop and iOs. It gives you control over the amplitude and has low pass and high pass filters that will definitely add some dynamism and character to your tracks.
There is a cool envelope graph display that will let you visualise, add and drag nods to create various curves. These curves with their nods can be modified in realtime to get a present correlation with affected audio.
This mini plug-in will let you create envelopes that are made for low and high pass filters, by clicking on the buttons that are displayed you con selected which of the parameters will be affected. There are three dials that can be manipulated to define the tempo sync, the mix and the resonance, which accentuates resonance to the low-pass and high-pass filter.
This particular plug-in is packed with 20 pre-loaded presets that can be quickly accessed and filed in. In this pre-selected presets you can dial envelops with modest sidechain effects to something that is completely erratic. This little plug-in has also got the ability to save the custom patches that you have created of time.
